Ambassador Markarian’s Meetings with the U.S. Lawmakers

On February 28, Tatoul Markarian, Ambassador of Armenia to the United States, held a meeting with Ed Royce, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the US House of Representatives.

Ambassador Markarian and Congressman Royce exchanged views on the Armenian-American bilateral relations, regional developments, cooperation in the House of Representatives, and other issues.

Ambassador Markarian highly appreciated Congressman’s consistent stance on the issues concerning Armenia and the Armenian nation. Congressman Royce reaffirmed his principled position on those issues.

On the same day, Ambassador Markarian had a meeting with the member of the US Senate Mark Kirk. They discussed a wide range of issues concerning the Armenian-American relations and the prospects of cooperation in the U.S. Senate.
