Concert dedicated to the 145 anniversary of Komitas Vardapet at the Embassy of Armenia

On December 5, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the United States, in cooperation with the “Embassy Series” organization hosted a concert and a reception dedicated to the 145 anniversary of remarkable Armenian composer Komitas Vardapet and the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

Karine Poghosyan, a young Armenian pianist performed masterpieces of Komitas, as well as other Armenian and foreign composers.

The guests highly appreciated the talent of the Armenian pianist, which provided them with an opportunity to get acquainted with the works of the Armenian composter.
