The Secretary General of the Organization of American States received the Armenian Ambassador

On May 17, Ambassador Grigor Hovhannissian had a meeting Luis Almagro Lemes, Secretary General of the Organization of American States.

A variety of international issues were discussed during the meeting. Ambassador Hovhannissian noted that Armenia highly values friendly relations with the American states. He expressed his appreciation over the fact that the number of American countries, where Armenia has diplomatic missions or is accredited to, has been steadily expanding.

Ambassador Hovhannissian expressed his gratitude to Secretary General Almagro for the principled position of the Organization of American States in the wake of Azerbaijan’s aggression against the people of Artsakh back in April 2016.
