On December 30th Ambassador of Armenia to the United States Varuzhan Nersesyan met with Co-Chair of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues Congressman Frank Pallone Jr. (D-NJ). Ambassador Nersesyan congratulated Congressman Pallone on his recent reelection to the US Congress and wished him success in his future endeavors.

Ambassador Nersesyan and Congressman Pallone touched upon a number of issues on the Armenia-US bilateral agenda. The interlocutors highlighted the prospects of enhancing bilateral trade, economic and investment ties in light of fundamental democratic and economic reforms in Armenia, as well as the role of the US Congress in fostering these ties.

Ambassador Nersesyan and Congressman Pallone agreed to maintain regular contacts to discuss the ongoing steps towards enhancing bilateral cooperation.
