On December 20th Appointed-Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States Varuzhan Nersesyan met with Congressman Brad Sherman, member of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian issues. Ambassador Nersesyan congratulated Congressman Sherman on his recent reelection and thanked him for his efforts towards enhancing the Armenian-American agenda.

Ambassador Nersesyan briefed Congressman Sherman on the snap parliamentary elections in Armenia and the positive feedback by international observers.

The interlocutors discussed a number of issues related to the bilateral agenda and underlined the role of the US Congress in strengthening and developing Armenian-American relations. Congressman Sherman reaffirmed his commitment towards enhancing Armenian-American cooperation, as a member of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian issues.
