Conversation with Dr. Haykak Arshamyan, Executive Director of “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund

On January 22nd the Embassy of Armenia to the United States hosted a conversation featuring Dr. Haykak Arshamyan, Executive Director of “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund. The event was attended by leaders of Armenian-American organizations, benefactors and representatives of DC Metro area Armenian community.

Following the opening remarks by Ambassador Varuzhan Nersesyan and Representative of the Republic of Artsakh Mr. Robert Avetisyan, Dr. Arshamyan spoke about the new agenda of the Fund in light of last year’s democratic developments in Armenia, the ways of transforming the organization to a powerful public diplomacy instrument, as well as the new leadership’s efforts towards reshaping the fundraising system, expanding the diaspora’s involvement in the Fund’s activities and creating a network of young diaspora Armenians, and raising the efficiency of PR campaigns.

The event was concluded with a Q&A session about the future activities of the Fund.
