Ambassador Nersesyan’s meeting with Congressman Cicilline

On January 30th Ambassador Nersesyan met with Congressman David Cicilline (D-RI), member of the Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues. Ambassador Nersesyan expressed gratitude to the Congressman for his support in the framework of the Armenian Caucus and his longtime efforts towards strengthening Armenian-American relations.

Ambassador Nersesyan briefed Congressman Cicilline on the recent political developments in Armenia, emphasizing the large-scale reforms of the Armenian Government aimed at strengthening the democracy. The interlocutors also discussed the agenda of the Armenia-US cooperation, including the steps to be taken to intensify inter-parliamentary ties and mutual contacts.
