Ambassador Nersesyan held a phone call with Congressman Ken Calvert

On June 22 Varuzhan Nersesyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America, had phone conversations with Congressman Ken Calvert (R – California).
The interlocutors discussed the situation in the world due to COVID-19 during the phone conversation. Ambassador Nersesyan briefed about the measures implemented by the Government of Armenia in the fight against pandemic.
Both sides stressed the importance of expansion of cooperation between the legislative bodies of Armenia and U.S.
Varuzhan Nersesyan briefed his interlocutor on the position and approaches of Armenia with regards to the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
