On June 13th Varuzhan Nersesyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America, had phone conversations with Congressman Ted Deutch (D – Florida).
The ambassador thanked Ted Deutsch for supporting Armenian issues in Congress. The Ambassador presented the situation caused by the coronavirus in Armenia and the measures taken by the Armenian Government to overcome the consequences.
The parties exchanged views on regional developments. Varuzhan Nersesyan briefed the Congressman about the ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani armed forces in the direction of the Tavush region of the Republic of Armenia starting from the afternoon of July 12.
