The coronavirus state of emergency in Armenia is extended until August 12

The Armenian government has extended the coronavirus state of emergency until August 12.

According to the Annex to Government Decree numbered 298-N of March 16, 2020 (hereinafter Annex), the following permissions and restrictions shall be applicable at all state border checkpoints of the Republic of Armenia (hereinafter - Checkpoint)

Entry Permitted To
Citizens of the Republic of Armenia;
Their family members who are not citizens of the Republic of Armenia;
Persons who are not citizens of the Republic of Armenia but have the right to reside legally in the Republic of Armenia.

Entry Forbidden To
Non-citizens of the Republic of Armenia, except for:
1. Representatives of diplomatic missions, consular posts, international organizations and members of their families;
2. Persons from countries (regions) white-listed in accordance with the Commandant’s decision, based on their epidemiological situation;
other special cases envisaged by the Commandant.
