On March 3rd upon the invitation of Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution (George Mason University) H.E. Varuzhan Nersesyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the USA participated in online-discussion “Is there a space for peacebuilding in Armenia today? Prospects for healing, resilience and dialogue”.
In his opening remark, Ambassador Nersesyan briefed about the current situation around Nagorno Karabakh conflict, highlighting the humanitarian crisis after the Azerbaijani launched war against Artsakh. Ambassador stressed the importance of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs efforts, the necessity of the de-occupation of Artsakh lands and the importance of unconditional and immediate release of Armenian Prisoners of war.
