Virtual meeting between Ambassador Makunts and Congressman Price

On September 21^st Lilit Makunts, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America, held a virtual meeting with Chairman of “House Democracy Partnership” Congressman David Price (D – North Carolina).

Ambassador expressed her gratitude to Congressman for his efforts towards enhancement and deepening the cooperation between the National Assembly of Armenia and US Congress.

Ambassador briefed about the agenda of democratic reforms undertaken by the Armenian Government, and in this regard emphasized the support provided by the United States.

Ambassador Makunts briefed in detail about the situation around Artsakh and the humanitarian crises that has been followed the 44-day war. Interlocutors stressed the importance of the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship.
