A phone call between Ambassador Makunts and Amanda Sloat, Senior Director for Europe at the National Security Council

On October 1 Lilit Makunts, Ambassador of Armenia to the US held a phone call with Amanda Sloat, Senior Director for Europe at the National Security Council.

During the phone call the sides touched upon the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship. Ambassador Makunts underscored the necessity of immediate release of Armenian POWs and other detainees held in Azerbaijan.

The sides also touched upon the possible joint efforts towards overcoming the Covid19 pandemic.
