On February 16, 2023, a meeting-reception with the staffers of the United States Congressmen and Senators was held at the Armenian Embassy.
Ambassador Makunts presented to the interlocutors the details of the Armenia-US bilateral relations agenda, the democratic reforms taking place in Armenia, as well as the security situation in the South Caucasus region. The Ambassador also briefed on the blockade of the Lachin Corridor and its humanitarian consequences, the POWs and other captives held in Azerbaijan.
