H.E. Lilit Makunts, Ambassador of Armenia to the USA, paid a working visit to Fresno, California

On February 23, 2023 H.E. Lilit Makunts, Ambassador of Armenia to the USA, paid a working visit to Fresno, California.

During the visit, Ambassador Makunts met with Mr. Jerry Dyer, Mayor of Fresno, Dr. Saul Jimenez-Sandoval, President of the University of Fresno and Mr. Craig Castro, President and CEO of the Fresno Community Health System. During the meetings issues related to the existing Armenia-Fresno sectoral cooperation and prospects of future projects were discussed.

Ambassador Makunts also gave an interview to Ms. Stephanie Booroojian, Fresno KSEE24 News reporter. In the evening, a reception was held in honor of Ambassador Makunts with the participation of the Armenian community members.
