On October 2, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States, Narek Mkrtchyan, met with the Ambassador of Greece to the United States, Ekaterini Nassika.
 
During the meeting, the ambassadors discussed the current dynamics of Armenian-Greek relations, touching upon the opportunities for further deepening bilateral cooperation.
 
The Ambassador referred to the joint declaration signed in Washington on August 8 by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the President of the United States of America, as well as the initialed agreement on Establishment of Peace and Inter-State Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, emphasizing the significance of the agreements reached in Washington in establishing peace and stability in the region.
