Virtual Meeting between Ambassador Makunts and Acting Director of US Peace Corps Carol Spahn

On September 21^st Lilit Makunts, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States of America, held a virtual meeting with Acting Director of US Peace Corps Carol Spahn and other leadership members.

Ambassador underlined the importance of the Peace Corps mission in Armenia over two decades, particularly the projects that have been implemented by the volunteers in the sphere of education, community development program and other areas.

In that context Ambassador proposed to discuss the possibility of expanding the mission’s program and include new projects for Armenia.

Peace Corps leadership expressed readiness of discussing that proposal and continuation to work closely with the Governmental bodies of Armenia for the further enhancement of cooperation.
