20th Annual Armenian festival in Verginia

On June 2nd and 20th Annual Armenian Festival was held in Alexandria, Virginia.

The festival was organized by the Alexandria-Gyumri Sister City Committee, Knights if Vartan and Alexandria City Hall with the support of the Armenian Embassy in the U.S.

During the event attended by over thousand peoples, Armenian music was played, dances were performed and Armenian traditional dishes were served.
Representatives of Alexandria City Hall and the Armenian Embassy gave speeches to welcome attendees during the festival’s opening ceremony.

On behalf of the mayor, June 2nd has been declared Armenia Day in Alexandria.
