21st Armenian Annual festival was held in the US

On June 1, the 21st Armenian annual festival was held in Alexandria, Virginia. The event was organized by the Alexandria-Gyumri Sister City Committee, Knights of Vartan, Armenian Network of America, and Alexandria City Hall with the support of the Embassy of Armenia to the U.S.

During the heavily attended festival, Armenian folk and modern music was played, dances were performed representing different regions of Armenia, as well as verity of Armenian national food was served.

Representatives of the Alexandria City Hall, the Embassy of Armenia, spiritual fathers of the Armenian Apostolic Church, and other high-ranking guests delivered welcoming remarks at the opening ceremony of the festival.
