Ambassador Tigran Sargsyan Meets with the Leaders of the Armenian-American Lobbyist Organizations

After starting his diplomatic mission in Washington D.C, H.E. Tigran Sargsyan, Ambassador of Armenia to the United States, met with the leaders of the prominent Armenian-American lobbyist organizations operating in Washington D.C. – the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) and the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA).

During the meetings with Mr. Garo Armenian, representative of the Armenian National Committee of America, Mr. Ken Hachikian, ANCA President, Mr. Aram Hamparian, Director of the ANCA Washington Office and Mr. Bryan Ardouny, Executive Director of the Armenian Assembly of America, the sides touched upon the issues concerning the current agenda of Armenia-US relations, the further enhancement of Armenia-Diaspora relations, the process of international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide, the Nagorno Karabakh settlement process and a wide range of issues of the Armenian-American community's concern.

In the course of meetings the Ambassador and leaders of the Armenian-American organizations emphasized the mutual willingness to continue further cooperation.
