Ambassador Sargsyan’s meeting with Metropolitan Tikhon of All America and Canada

On December 13, H.E. Tigran Sargsyan, Ambassador of Armenia to the United States, had a meeting with His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon of All America and Canada.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the role of the church in the society. They attached importance to the cooperation of the churches in overcoming challenges they face.

Ambassador Sargsyan also presented preparatory works of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, in particular, details of the “Against the crime of Genocide” forum, which will take place in Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin in April 2015. Metropolitan Tikhon noted that he gladly accepts the invitation to participate in the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.
