Ambassador Hovhannissian’s Meeting with US House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy

On April 27 Ambassador of Armenia to the United States Grigor Hovhannissian held a meeting with US House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

Ambassador Hovhannissian thanked Kevin McCarthy for continuously focusing on Armenia-related issues at the US Congress.

Ambassador Hovhannissian touched upon the reforms, taking place in Armenia, including the process of strengthening the rule of law and the consolidation of democratic institutions.

Kevin McCarthy and Ambassador Hovhannissian discussed the latest developments in US-Armenia bilateral relations, while singling out the cementing role of the Armenian-American community.

The current regional issues were also discussed during the meeting.
