Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met with the Regional Program Director for Eurasia of the International Republican Institute

On May 5, in Washington, within the framework of his working visit to the United States, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with the Regional Program Director of Eurasia of the International Republican Institute Stephen Nix.

Ararat Mirzoyan also highlighted the importance of the programs implemented by the International Republican Institute in Armenia, which aim to support the reform agenda in various spheres of public administration. Stephen Nix noted that the International Republican Institute will continue its work aimed at supporting democratic institutions and developing the capacities of Armenia.

The Foreign Minister of Armenia emphasised that one of the priorities of the government of Armenia is the strengthening of democracy, the rule of law, and the continuous fight against corruption. He noted that Armenia is undertaking consistent steps to increase the transparency, accountability and inclusive development of human rights based on the activities of state bodies.
