Ambassador MAkunts particilated in the Women’s History Month Panel discussion

On March 3, 2023, within the framework of the 14th annual Women’s History Month Panel discussion, Ambassador Makunts delivered a speech at the State Department. The Ambassador touched upon the women’s role in the political and social life of Armenia, their involvement in the governance of the country, as well as the steps taken to protect women’s rights. The speech was followed by Q&A.

Along with Ambassador Makunts Ambassador Marcia Bernicat, Director General of the Foreign Service of the State Department and H.E. Hanene Tajouri Bessassi, Ambassador of Tunisia were the panelists of the discussion organized by the Associates of the American Foreign Service Worldwide (AAFSW).
