Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan received U.S. Senator Gary Peters

On September 25, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan received U.S. Senator Gary Peters.

The Deputy Minister highly appreciated Senator Peters' visit to Armenia in this difficult situation for the Armenian people and emphasized the importance of the U.S. support in overcoming the challenges Armenia encounters. In turn, the U.S. senator expressed his concern regarding the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh.

During the meeting, the sides also touched upon the existing close cooperation between Armenia and the U.S. in the context of strengthening democracy, effective implementation of reforms and multi-sectoral cooperation.
