On April 23, Ambassador Makunts hosted a roundtable discussion with key representatives from faith-based Christian non-governmental organizations. Among them were former Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom Sam Brownback, International Religious Freedom Summit Director Peter Burns, Director of “Save Armenia” Matias Perttula, and others.
The meeting centered on briefing the participants about the current state and prospects of Armenia-United States bilateral relations, as well as the security challenges and peace processes in the region.
The discussion provided a valuable platform for an exchange of views, strengthening collaboration and mutual understanding between Armenia and the U.S. organizations committed to promote and preserve Christian heritage.
