For the first time the Embassy of Armenia, joined the EVENTS DC - PASSPORT DC " Around the World Embassy Tour " program, and opened its doors for the visitors

On May 4, for the first time the Embassy of Armenia, joined the EVENTS DC - PASSPORT DC " Around the World Embassy Tour " program, and opened its doors for the visitors. During the day, 8200 visitors were introduced to the Armenian cultural and historic heritage. An exhibition of the works of Armenian artists as well as Armenian traditional attire (Taraz), tasting of famous Armenian drinks and traditional desert gata were organized. The visitors also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the life and activities of worldwide prominent Armenians, enjoyed the pieces of famous Armenian composer Komitas performed by talented Kanon (traditional Armenian string instrument) players Lilia and Alexandra Yaralian. Armenian customs and traditions, as well as rich cultural heritage and history were presented to the audience by the Ambassador and diplomats of the Embassy.
