An event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Armenian Armed Forces took place in Washington, D.C.

On March 4 an event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Armenian Armed Forces took place in Washington, D.C., with the participation of the Commander of the Kansas National Guard, Major General Michael Venerdi, from the American side.
 
Deputy Head of Mission Armen Tepanyan and the Military Attaché of the Embassy Hrayr Geghamyan delivered remarks at the event.
 
The event was attended by the military attachés of Embassies accredited to the United States, the diocesan delegate of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the United States, Archbishop Vigen Haykazyan, and the spiritual pastor of the church, Father Hovsep Karapetyan, as well as representatives of the Armenian community.
 
The event was followed by a reception organized for the guests.
