On July 8, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States Lilit Makunts met with Congressman Darrell Issa (Republican).

The Armenia-US bilateral agenda was discussed during the meeting. The Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Congressman for joining the resolutions and statements supporting Armenia. Regional developments, possible US engagement in overcoming existing issues, as well as further steps towards the development of bilateral cooperation were discussed.
