On September 8, 2025, in Washington, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States Narek Mkrtchyan presented copies of credentials to the Chief of Protocol of the United States, Ambassador Monica Crowley.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and reaffirmed readiness of Armenia to expand bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.

Ambassador Crowley welcomed Ambassador Mkrtchyan on assuming office and wished him success in his mission.
