Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia with the U.S. Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security

On September 25, on the margins of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with the U.S. Unersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Brent Christensen.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the implementation of programs aimed at developing the strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States. Both sides emphasized the active dynamics towards implementation of the agreements outlined in the bilateral memoranda signed on August 8 in Washington regarding cooperation in the fields of energy and artificial intelligence.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Brent Christensen exchanged views on regional developments as well as Armenia-U.S. cooperation on multilateral platforms.
