Meeting of Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia with the Co-Founder and Director of the Group of Friends of Jewish Culture

On September 24, in New-York, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Davit Karapetyan, met with Gregory Lafitte, Co-Founder and Director of the Group of Friends of Jewish Culture.

During the meeting the sides emphasized the importance of promoting cultural dialogue and preserving cultural heritage. Davit Karapetyan highlighted Armenia’s longstanding tradition of peaceful coexistence among its diverse communities and reaffirmed the country's commitment to fostering dialogue.

Opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education, culture, and interfaith dialogue were discussed. The implementation of joint projects, including exhibitions, academic exchange programs, and public diplomacy initiatives, highlighting the cultural contributions of both Armenian and Jewish legacies, was emphasized.
