On December 2, Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan hosted newly appointed U.S. Ambassador to India and U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, Ambassador Sergio Gor, at the Embassy.

The interlocutors underscored the importance of the TRIPP initiative and exchanged views on issues related to interregional relations.

Ambassador Gor expressed his readiness to cooperate on bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan congratulated Sergio Gor on assuming his new position and wished him success in his future endeavors.
