28 jan, 2026

On January 26, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan received a bipartisan delegation of staff members of the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs.

The Deputy Foreign Minister provided a comprehensive overview of the key issues on the Armenia–United States bilateral agenda and briefed the delegation on recent developments in this regard. Vahan Kostanyan underscored the steady progress of the Armenia–U.S. strategic partnership and the implementation of the understandings reached at the Washington Peace Summit, with particular emphasis on the recent adoption of the TRIPP implementation framework between the Governments of Armenia and the United States.

The sides reaffirmed the important role of the U.S. House of Representatives in further advancing the Armenia–U.S. strategic partnership and exchanged views on possible ways in which the U.S. legislative body could contribute to peace and the unblocking of regional communications.
