Meeting of the Foreign Minister of Armenia with the US Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security

On March 10, in Paris, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Thomas DiNanno, the US Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security.

The interlocutors discussed issues of deepening the Armenia-US strategic partnership in various directions.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Thomas DiNanno noted with satisfaction the conclusion of negotiations on the Agreement on Cooperation between the Governments of Armenia and the United States of America in the Field of Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy, emphasizing the readiness to sign the agreement in the appropriate format and to further foster the cooperation in this sector.

Regional infrastructure projects were touched upon.

The views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
