Participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Armenia in the event “Prosperity through Peace: Investing in the Trans-Caspian Trade Route and TRIPP”

On September 23, in New York, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan participated in the event entitled “Prosperity through Peace: Investing in the Trans-Caspian Trade Route and TRIPP,” organized by the Government of the United States.

Ararat Mirzoyan participated as a speaker in the discussion entitled “Prospects for Peace: Implementing TRIPP and the Trans-Caspian Route,” alongside Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Brendan Hanrahan. U.S. Special Envoy for Peace Missions Steve Witkoff also participated in the event.

During the discussion, the agenda of peace and regional connectivity, as well as the important achievements recorded since August 8, 2025, were touched upon.

In his remarks, Minister Mirzoyan emphasized the historic significance of the August 8 Peace Summit, held with the decisive engagement of the United States, in establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and advancing regional unblocking. Ararat Mirzoyan presented the tangible changes on the ground for citizens resulting from the existence of peace, as well as the positive developments in Armenia-Azerbaijan relations since the establishment of peace. Minister Mirzoyan underscored the key importance of TRIPP for the countries of the region and for the effective development of interregional connectivity. Ararat Mirzoyan noted with satisfaction the very tangible and concrete achievements recorded in advancing the Armenia-U.S. strategic partnership.

The event also addressed financial investment opportunities within the Trans-Caspian Enterprise Fund. Representatives of Georgia, Central Asian countries, as well as the private sector, participated in the discussions.
