Celebration of the Independence Day at the Embassy of Armenia to the United States

On September 27, in the framework of events dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, the Embassy of Armenia to the U.S. and the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society organized a community event with the participation of Distinguished Artist of the Republic of Armenia Silva Yuzbashyan.

In his congratulatory remarks addressed to the participants Tatoul Markarian, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States highly valued the presentation of rich culture of independent Armenia in foreign countries. He stressed that the cultural diplomacy, cultural events play a unique role in interstate relations, as well as in strengthening the ties between Armenia and Diaspora.

Leaders of the Armenian community and the Armenian Church extended good wishes and congratulatory remarks on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of Armenia’s independence.

The cultural program passed in a warm and passionate atmosphere. Ms. Yuzbashyan presented masterpieces of classics of the Armenian literature.
