On November 11, the delegation of Yerevan State University (YSU), headed by, Dr. Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, YSU President, was received by Dr. Paul Almeida, the Dean and William R. Berkley Chair at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Makunts, Elina Asriyan, YSU Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Karlen Khachatryan, Dean of the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, as well as Armen Chobanyan, Izmirlian Foundation Armenia Country Director.

The discussions focused on a range of areas where the two universities could collaborate, including specific joint projects, which could elaborate into a deeper and more sustainable partnership between the YSU and the GU. The meeting participants noted the success of Georgetown University’s Dikran Izmirlian Program in Business & Global Affairs in preparing future leaders for a fast-changing global and business environment.
